The information contained in this website is the psychological, social, cultural and and humanity impact and materials and infrastructural damage and loose both at individual and sectorial level due to Tigray invading force invasion from June – December 2021 on Amhara and Afar region. More specifically in the Amahra National Regional State, where this study focused on eight zonal administrations of the Amhara Regional State (North Wollo, South Wollo, North Shewa, Oromo ethnic especial, Dessie City administration, Waghimra ethnic especial and part of North Gondar and South Gondar) which were ultimately left with a humanitarian, material, psychological catastrophe and internal scars that cannot be measured. As a result of this invasion, 1,411,313 were displaced in temporary shelters and 10,824,143 civilians became severely malnourished.
The information was generated in collaboration effort of university forum in Amhara region which includes Bahir Dar university, University of Gondar, Deberemarkos University, Debrebirhan university, Wollo university, woldia university, Debertabor university and injibara university; Ethiopian statistics service (Headquarter, Bahir Dar, Gondar, Dessie and Deberbirhan branches), and Concerned Amhara National Regional State Bureaus, departments and offices. Impact and damage data has provided both at individual sectorial, zonal and woreda level.
